START

We started this project in the 2017-2018 school year, at the CEIP Miguel Pintor, and expanded to CEIP San Fernando, after the demand by parents of students of the English teaching center according to the Cambridge methodology. Currently we work with these two schools and we are expanding teaching centers.

We prepare students from the center and external students from primary education to present themselves at the end of the school year, to the Cambridge exams corresponding to their level.

EVALUATION AND OBJECTIVES

All will be evaluated according to the 4 competences (listening, speaking and reading & writing) through shields whose number will determine if they need to reinforce certain competencies of the level at which present, or if you are ready to take the next level. Everyone will therefore receive the corresponding certificate that would prove their levels in the English language.

Our objective is to respond to an increasingly remarkable demand given the increasing importance of the English language at academic and labor level, in Spain, Europe and the world!

We want to immerse students in this prestigious methodology, so that it means for them a complementary training to the compulsory one received in their schools and, at the same time, familiarize with the Cambridge method, so that they can successfully acquire, as they grow, competencies and the necessary knowledge for higher certificates: B1, B2, C1 and C2. Certificates for the accreditation of the language level, which is currently compulsory to access studies superiors, university and postgraduate courses in Spain and Europe, as well as for specific programs offered by different universities such as ERASMUS and some state oppositions.

WHY CHOOSE THAT OUR LITTLE ONES LEARN ENGLISH ACCORDING TO THE CAMBRIDGE METHOD?

As Cambridge English Language Assessment points out, its exams help students to “Access higher education, improve their job opportunities and, thanks to their recognition international, increase the options within your reach, both study and work. ”

It is the most widely recognized English language certification; particularly the one that evaluates British English and that corresponds to what is required according to the Common Framework European Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) - the international standards that define the skills linguistic - to prove the level of the language.

PROGRAM

SCHEDULES: 2 hours weekly two days from Monday to Friday.
Groups: Division into groups according to levels and ages.
Students: Groups with a maximum of 10 students.
Teachers: Graduates or graduates in Education Primary with or without the specialty of English as a foreign language, with previous experience in teaching and with knowledge of the English language at a B2 level, at least, for starters, and C1 level, at least for movers and flyers, as well as English language professionals (graduates in English Philology and Translation and Interpretation) with studies and / or experience related to Language teaching at the Primary level.

Regular teaching during the course by teachers natives with the training and experience indicated above in the cases in which the teachers of the classes are not native.

Possibility of offering higher levels according to demand students. (KEY, KET, B1 and B2).
